Vertigo
Vertigo takes a single length of satin and winds it, drawing every fold toward one point at the hip where a crystal blossom holds the tension. The bodice is strapless and sculpted; the skirt spirals into a soft train behind her. It is a gown built on a single axis, and it moves the way a held breath moves once it is let go.

THE STORY
The Story of Vertigo
Some gowns are built from panels. Vertigo is built from one turn, the fabric wound around the body the way smoke winds around a hand before it disappears. Stand still and it holds its shape like architecture. Walk, and the spiral remembers it was always fabric, not stone, twisting loose behind her with every step.
